How much do I earn by referring customers to you?
Affiliates earn up to $9 for each customer that becomes a JustAnswer member or signs up for a trial for the JustAnswer service.
What is your average order value (AOV)?
JustAnswer members pay different prices for different categories of memberships. The average monthly membership price is about $40.
For each referral, do I earn money for each month a customer retains their JustAnswer membership?
Most of our customers are first offered a trial of the JustAnswer membership. The trial price varies between $1 and $5 for a limited amount of time. We believe you have done your job as a JustAnswer affiliate by referring customers to us to take a trial; it’s up to us to keep them as members.
In recognition of that, we pay you up to $15 when a customer takes a trial. While we don’t continually compensate you for the customer, we do pay you much more than the customer pays us for the trial, in recognition of your efforts.
What if I refer a customer to JustAnswer but they don’t purchase a membership at that time, but they become a paid member later? Do I earn a commission?
Yes, if the customer converts within 30 days of your referral, we will credit you the commission.
What affiliate platforms do you use?
We run on Impact.
I don’t have a website. Can I still refer customers to you?
Absolutely. If you have a large traffic source that you want to monetize, you just need to link to us through the affiliate platform of your choosing. Examples include large YouTube and social media accounts, e-mail newsletters, and more.
How soon do I get paid?
Commissions are paid out 30 days after the month ends in which the commission was earned. So, if you earned a commission in January, it would be paid in the first two weeks of March.
Can I choose my payment method?
Yes, you can choose from multiple payment methods, including direct deposit, PayPal, and more.
What should I do to be a successful affiliate?
First, we encourage you to use our gadgets: they feature an AI-powered assistant to help engage and guide your visitors, all without leaving your site. They typically convert at much higher rates than simple links or banners and have lots of form factors to help suit your needs.
Second, you should feature the gadgets “above the fold” on your site or property so they get good visibility.
Finally, consider incorporating an “Ask an Expert” navigational item to your property that leads to a dedicated page with the gadget; this has some of the highest conversion rates.
Can I still be an affiliate if I’m not located in the U.S?
Yes! We have localized operations in the U.K., Germany, Japan, and Spain, so if your visitors are in those areas, consider directing traffic to those sites. If you are outside those countries, you can still refer customers to JustAnswer.com and earn commission for doing so.
Do you offer coupons or promotions I can feature?
As a platform for Experts to help customers with real-world problems, we do not offer coupons or promotions.
I don't have a lot of technical expertise. How do I use your assets?
You need very little technical experience. Simply copy and paste the code into your site.
Can I bid on your brand to direct traffic to my property?
No, we do not allow bidding on the JustAnswer brand. You are welcome to bid on the concepts we help people with, however.
